Tasting

The purity of Japanese flavors

Rōpu” means “Rope” in Japanese, a nod to its birthplace, the Cordée des Alpes. More than just a restaurant, it’s a meeting point between two cultures: the purity of Japanese flavors and the warmth of the Alps.

Created to enrich the hotel’s culinary experience, Rōpu offers guests and Verbier locals a new way to enjoy refined, casual cuisine. Around the counter or around small tables, guests can admire the precision of Japanese savoir-faire: perfectly pressed nigiri, delicate sashimi and signature maki made with Swiss fish and Alpine ingredients.
